  2. Describe the medical jargon used and how this is and is not, helpful to the client.
  3. Discuss advocacy and laws, and how to apply and understand these, to better equip persons in addressing these ideas in a healthy and helpful manner (in and outside the clinical setting).

Kristen Paradise, MS, LPCC
Kristen is a Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist (KAP) through the Institute for Integrative Therapies (IIT), which is beneficial to clients who may feel stuck in their progress, are medication resistant, or want a new and different way, to approach their healing process. Kristen prefers to assist those clients who are at any space on the gender spectrum, as well as the broader LGBTQ+ community, to help process identity. Kristen assists clients who are experiencing bereavement, grief and loss, and is also a certified End-of-Life Doula. Kristen also assist persons who have concerns with trauma, depression, anxiety, military affairs, domestic violence, and individuals who have worked in the sex industry. A client can expect unconditional acceptance and compassion, while learning to cope with and assess one’s own circumstances, with healthy guidance. When we are shamed for simply who we are, how can we ever learn to be authentically ourselves? It is her goal to assist my clients developing a strong and healthy sense of self. Kristen specializes in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (IIT), Transgender/Gender identity concerns, LGBTQ+ community, Death, grief and loss, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Sex work, Veterans affairs, and First responders.
