Bennett is a licensed therapist who enjoys helping children, teens, and adults recognize their potential, harness their individual strengths, and overcome life's challenges. He has experience working with anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, gender dysphoria, attachment, and managing life's events. He is especially passionate about, and specializes in, working with clients within the transgender/gender non-conforming community, or those who may even be questioning their gender identity. He has experience helping clients navigate transitioning and manage physical, emotional, and social changes.
His strengths-based approach helps all his clients understand how experiences shape who they are and allow them to grow and heal. He believes in meeting his clients where they are at and tailoring his approach to meet each individual's needs. Bennett prides himself in being open and affirming to all who step into his office; his goal is to help you reach your goals.
Prior to coming to Ellie, Bennett spent several years working as a therapist in Iowa. He previously taught high school English, which has fostered his love of learning and helping others. When not he's not working, Bennett can be found playing video games, working on projects around his house, or spending time with his family.
