Halima believes that therapy is a collaborative process where the client and therapist can work together as a team to create healing path of life while also guiding client reach their highest potential. Halima helps her clients explore their strengths, potential while also working towards meaningful goals. Halima focuses on all aspects of the self: heart, mind, body, and spirit while empowering her clients grow into their strongest version of themselves. Halima has worked with both individuals and groups. Halima offers supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment to all of her clients. Halima strives to create a warm, open space for exploration and support to help her clients reach their goals. Halima integrates a combination of therapeutic approaches such as psychodynamic, mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT). Halima’s areas of interest and specialty include general mental health, (i.e., depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal relationships, multicultural & identity concerns). Halima has worked with diverse populations, (i.e., different race, ages, religions, sexual orientations, and beliefs). Halima’s approach includes being empathic, non-judgmental, and collaborative.

When Halima is not busy, she loves spending time with her dogs, traveling, working out, hiking, and learning new skills.
