Jessie’s clients describe her as a calm + compassionate therapist who is relaxed in her approach to treatment.  She is authentic, genuinely engaged + maintains an attitude of openness by welcoming + valuing differences. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where her clients + their families can heal and grow.

Jessie completed her Master’s of Clinical Social Work at The College of St. Scholastica, with a focus on children from birth to age 5 and their families. Her work often engages a caregiver in the therapeutic process. Jessie practices mindfulness + somatic awareness in some way within all her sessions but specialize in DC 0-5, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Child Parent Psychotherapy. She has a personal interest in working with teen parents, those involved in the foster care system, as well as families touched by adoption.

When not at work Jessie enjoys spending time with her family [she’s got FIVE kids], enjoying the outdoors [mostly being on the water], reading a good book [probably several at one time] or playing with her pups [two adorbs Cavalier King Charles Spaniels].
