Bio

Karna is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. She is a collaborative therapist who walks alongside her clients as they grow. Clients can expect honesty that is presented with empathy and a genuine human to human experience. She seeks to assist others in finding their strengths and healing wounds from those strengths.  She uses a safe and validating therapeutic relationship to help the processing of this healing. Karna often brings humor into the therapeutic process when valuable, but will not shy away from difficult or deeply embedded issues.

Karna provides trauma informed care and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Adaptive Internal Relationship Network Model (AIR Network), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). She has experience working with those who have trauma and high stress histories, PTSD, C-PTSD, and dissociative experiences.

Outside of work, Karna enjoys spending time with her husband and children camping, visiting parks, having picnics, and quiet time. She enjoys friendships and close family connections and recently began taking classes for floral design as a hobby.
