Katie Strong, MS, LPCC

Therapist

Katie is flexible in her approach to therapy including but not limited to, CBT, DBT, strengths-based, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing. She has a strong belief that therapy is not a one size fits all. She has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses such as Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as life changes/transitions, relationship concerns, communication difficulties, low self-esteem, self injurious behaviors and suicidal ideation.  Katie has a history working in multiple environments from in-home to schools, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, as well as with law enforcement, first responders, and their families.

Clients coming to Katie for therapy can expect her to create a sense of safety through a warm, empathic and transparent style while also bringing humor and focusing on being our authentic selves. She works with clients to provide a space where they feel safe, supported, listened to, and free to express themselves.

When she is not at work, Katie enjoys anything outside with her son, family, and friends: checking out new restaurants, grilling, boating, fishing, watching and playing sports.
