Lauren (she/her) is an empathic, directive therapist who is passionate about joining people on their journey toward a more authentic and balanced life. Lauren’s approach to therapy provides a safe and supportive environment to enable healing with a social justice emphasis. Lauren is passionate about working with pre-teens, adolescents, and adults (12+). Lauren specializes in trauma work, anxiety, depression, gender identity, self-esteem, self-harm, body image issues, and working within the LGBTQ community. Lauren believes in the power of the mind-body connection to encourage clients to listen to and regulate their own emotions and reactions and take an active part in their healing. 

Lauren utilizes concepts from art, music, and play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness-based approaches to meet clients where they are and find the best approach to their healing journey. Lauren works from a Health at Every Size®, feminist, trauma-informed, and social-justice centered lens.
