Bio

Mamie is a charismatic therapist who is passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves. She believes when dealing with life’s struggles, it's helpful to journey down the path towards healing with someone who can attentively listen, validate your experience and help contribute to your personal insight, all while understanding that you are the expert of your own life. As an art therapist, Mamie may incorporate art-making, creative thinking, and use of metaphor into sessions to allow clients to view their growth areas with a fresh perspective. If art therapy is not something you are interested in, that is okay! Mamie offers traditional talk therapy, too. Mamie is grounded and offers a calm presence (with some sass and humor along the way!) Mamie enjoys working with clients who are ready to dig deep into understanding the purpose behind their behavior and work towards creating patterns toward improved well-being. Mamie is passionate about working with those who want to incorporate creativity as a form of spirituality and connection to self as well as a form of coping and healing. When Mamie is not working, she enjoys playing cribbage with her partner, being outdoors, and teaching her rescue dog new tricks.
