Margo Fritz

Community Based Mental Health Practitioner
Bio

Margo’s therapy practice is grounded in a relational, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive framework. Her practice draws from psychodynamic and attachment theories, parts work, and narrative therapy. She is particularly passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ folks and individuals in the process of healing from complex trauma. She is body-positive, fat-friendly, sex-positive, and prepared to hold space for every facet of your identity. If you choose to work with Margo, she will work with you to build a secure relationship in which you can laugh, cry, grow, and develop a deeper understanding of who you are and how to best care for yourself.

Margo’s experience includes individual and group therapy at the Tubman Chrysalis Center, school-based social work, transformative justice circles, and community organizing around racial justice and economic equity. She is currently completing a Master of Social Work degree in Multicultural Clinical Practice at Augsburg University. When she is not working, Margo loves water aerobics, making soup, and doing crossword puzzles!
