Michelle (Mikki) is a laid back, thoughtful, compassionate clinician who approaches nearly all situations with humor. She believes building self-confidence, holding space for yourself, listening to your body, learning to slow down (think: mindfulness), and finding laughter are five important keys to growing as a human being and advocating for yourself. Her communication style can be described as direct, down-to-earth, and understanding. She especially enjoys helping clients recognize that everything we endure [in life] is a part of the human experience and guiding and encouraging them to give themselves some grace, while working toward achieving self-acceptance.
Outside of work: five days a week Mikki can be found taking early morning exercise classes at a local gym, where she is frequently seen/heard wearing her "I hate running" tank top and complaining about burpees.
She also enjoys spending time with her family, reading, being in nature, frequenting the farmers market, thinking about napping, and is fluent in all forms of sarcasm.
