Rachel is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Minnesota and Wisconsin and holds professional certificates in sex therapy, substance use disorders, Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, adoption trauma, and AIR Network. Rachel has completed advanced training in EMDR, premarital counseling, Gottman, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy and Sensory Motor Arousal and Regulation Treatment: Rachel is committed to ongoing learning to be a compassionate, skilled partner in healing and has particular interest in working with humans who struggle with trauma, neuro-dissociative states, sex, gender, chronic pain, self-harm, and relationship(s) in any configuration(s). Rachel enjoys being creative and collaborative to help clients bring as much of themselves and their worlds as they want into treatment. No topics are off limits with Rachel. Rachel recognizes that therapy takes bravery and commitment and will help clients learn to honor themselves and their loved ones--whatever that means to each client. Rachel offers individual, couple(s), family, and group therapies to clients 5+ in Spanish and English.
Rachel offers clinical supervision and teaches in the counselor education program at Winona State University. Outside of Ellie, you are likely to find Rachel playing electric fiddle or classical violin, reading, kayaking, and/or searching for coffee.
