Samantha is a compassionate therapist that supports clients in building on their strengths and recognizing their resiliency. Samantha enjoys working with folks that demonstrate willingness, workability, and have a good sense of humor. Clients can expect a warm and kind environment, which prior (and post) pandemic, included a nice cup of tea.
Her practice focuses on the mental health of adults, couples, and older adolescents. She also enjoys working with college students and young adults. Clinical areas of interest include anxiety, adoption, depression, grief/loss, LGBTQ+, life transitions, and trauma.
Samantha takes a collaborative and holistic approach to treatment and recognizes that healing can take place in numerous ways. Her therapeutic techniques are rooted in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and in ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) while integrating tools from other domains. She is passionate about incorporating the arts and creativity into therapy while helping others find what moves them.
